So you’re looking for a Stout?!
Bill McGeeney here from Round Guys Brewing Company! Let me tell you about a beer named Headmasters Ritual!
Why go Dry?
You don’t have to be a beer fan to recognize the familiar look of a dry irish stout…that dark completion with a thick white head! It’s almost a symbol of what a beer should always look like!
Dry Irish Stouts derive out of the long UK history of brewing. As an offshoot of the porter category, this style found a new more palatable life in Ireland where they pioneered the use of more refined heavily kilned malts. This beer style has survived so long that it’s witnessed both the death and resurgence of porters.
Contrary to its foreboding outward appearance, this beer is neither thick nor strong. It’s a paper lion with a medium light body and a toffee, nutty malt driven flavor.
Why you should care?
Irish Stouts are always great go to’s! Ringing in at a pleasant 4.7% ABV, you can enjoy this beer anytime of the day!
Headmasters Ritual Irish Stout is a bit more unique than most beers – enjoy the fresh earthy hops and tasty coffee like malt characteristics!
