Lansdale, PA. Round Guys Brewing Company continually redefines and spearheads the craft beer marketplace. Their newest venture showcases the boldness of founder Scott Rudich.
“I think we have a real opportunity here.” Rudich mentioned on Tuesday when discussing an unveiling of the new brewery to door delivery service. “We look at it this way. If you can’t make it to our pub, we’ll send the beer to you, thus doubling our sales in one swoop.”
Charged with being the first shift driver is Logan, a 23 year old Round Guys fan recruited from a recent pop-punk show at the Underground by Round Guys Brewing Company, their sister facility.
“I love beer and I love driving,” Logan said. “It’s always been a dream of mine to be part of this industry. I can’t wait to see how happy people are when they receive their first beer!”
When asked about the apparent naming similarities to Uber, Rudich replied with a shrug. “Sue us. Let’s get our name in the papers and double sales just through their advertising for us!” Beer-ber comes complete with a detailed app downloadable via the Apple Store and Google Play. Rudich believes this will allow the Lansdale based brewery to serve new markets including retirement homes and riverside fisherman.
