Rich DiLiberto

Rich grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia and received a B.S in Chemical Engineering from Penn State. Back in his college days he would drink any beer he could get his hands on. Rich soon discovered the wonderment of superb beer when he walked into Zeno’s Pub on Allen Street in State College for the first time. Zeno’s specialized in beers of the world…is was like a trip to a beer superstore! He still didn’t learn to be an expert on beer, but certainly expanded his beer pallet. He was introduced to beers such as EKU 28, Theakston Old Peculier, and Lindeman’s Lambic Kriek.

Rich has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for the last 15 years. He gained experience in process engineering, quality control, and just a little bit of marketing. When the idea popped in to Rich and Scott’s heads to open a brewery the gears started to spin, and he was anxious to put his past experience to task.

When he started brewing, his favorite styles of beer were Maibocks & Oktoberfest …basically anything malty and flavorful, and preferably a lager. The Oktoberfest is probably still at the top of his list, but now you’ll find him drinking IPAs, Stouts, and just about anything Belgian!
